Thomas Frank has had his say behind the scenes as Tottenham Hotspur whittle down their list of midfield targets in an aim to complete their revamp of the role.

Tottenham’s £60 million deal to sign Morgan Gibbs-White is currently off as Nottingham Forest have pursued legal action over Spurs’ move for the midfielder. Spurs moved quickly to complete a deal for Gibbs-White this week as they indicated to Forest that they are prepared to meet the 25-year-old’s £60m release clause.
