Caitlin Clark began her second WNBA campaign with a season-opening clash against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Saturday afternoon. Clark and her Indiana Fever squad dominated the matchup, winning with a 93-58 final score at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
It was revealed by Front Office Sports last week that a bombshell lawsuit had been filed against Phoenix Suns CEO Josh Bartelstein by the team’s former director of safety, security, and risk management Gene Traylor for racial discrimination.
Iowa Hawkeyes legend Caitlin Clark once again found herself in the crosshairs of former NCAA rival Angel Reese over the weekend, as she committed a hard foul on Reese that was ruled a flagrant during the Indiana Fever's blowout win over the Chicago Sky.
She and the Fever made a massive statement in their season opener against the Chicago Sky, blasting them by a score of 93-58. In addition to what was the team's biggest season-opening win in franchise history, Clark also posted a triple-double, racking up 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
