So, before Sunday’s series final vs. the Houston Astros melted down in tremendous fashion, Rangers right-handed pitcher Jack Leiter shoved. Like, flirted-with-a-no-hitter shoved, and if he’d kept his ledger clean and remained in the game, he might’ve had enough gas left in the tank to go the distance.
Leiter did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Astros, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts over seven innings.
