Scottie Scheffler showed the world, once again, why he is the best golfer on the planet. The No. 1 ranked golfer in the world won his first PGA Championship on Sunday, his third major of his career. Scheffler entered the final round with a three-stroke lead over Alex Noren.

“Lost in the shuffle of Scottie Scheffler winning the PGA Championship, I failed to post this moment of Bennett Scheffler standing for the first time (I think),” posted Spectrum News 1's Mike Solarte. “Mom's reaction is so pure. Just adorable.”

Not long ago, the world's No. 1 player was putting terribly. But after switching to a mallet for a non-obvious reason, things turned around.

And this year, the only thing Scottie Scheffler locked up at the PGA Championship was that giant Wanamaker Trophy. I’d like to imagine his former inmates listening to the call on the prison radio while banging the bars of their jail cell with cups in solidarity.

Scottie Scheffler won the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club on Sunday but he did so without his gamer driver this week.
