The Los Angeles Dodgers released longtime contributor Chris Taylor on Sunday and activated infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman from the 10-day injured list. The Dodgers also placed right-handed reliever Kirby Yates (right hamstring strain) on the 15-day injured list and promoted righty Lou Trivino from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

With Edman and Hernandez close to returning, James Outman could be optioned, and Hyeseong Kim’s strong play complicates the club’s roster decisions.
