New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy and NJ Transit President Kris Kolluri announced a tentative agreement to end the three-day rail strike. Trains will resume running on their regular schedules on Tuesday, said NJ Transit’s president and CEO.

NJ Transit and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen have reached a deal to end the rail strike.

An agreement was reached on Sunday to end New Jersey’s first statewide transit strike in more than 40 years just three days after it started, two people close to the negotiations said.
